Hello there! I’m Liz. I’m a hairstylist, and mom of 3 kiddos. I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana (who dat baby!) and now reside in Houston, TX.

I have a bachelors degree in music and after college (and a few years teaching horse back riding lessons – yes, I’ve had a few career changes) I did a major life pivot and went to beauty school. I wanted to help women discover and love their own unique beauty. My deepest desire for this blog is to help YOU develop and discover confidence in your own unique beauty and style.

In March of 2020, the same week the world was shutting down, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I had surgery and completed chemo in November of 2020 but had a recurrence in March of 2021. Living with cancer has changed my perspective on life and for that I am grateful. There is so much more to my cancer story and eventually I will dedicate an entire post to it.
